Pre-counted short stacks of plates are delivered to the NAS model AGH plate stacking system from the customer's conveyor single file. Plates are transferred alternately one at a time to two separate rotation stations. Stacks can either be rotated once staged or pushed to the up stack station without being rotated. Once staged in each up stacking unit, short stacks are lifted to stack until the desired stack count is achieved.
Finished stacks transition to the center carry through conveyor of the stack wrapper where they transition through the stack wrapper one at a time. They are lifted and carried through the film inverting section and then through the pneumatic seal head assembly by a servo driven carry device. After passing through the seal head area, the stack is stopped and the seal head activated cutting and sealing the film.
Wrapped sealed stacks are then conveyed forward through a closing device of the customer's choosing.
Short plate and bowl stacks can be packaged on the NAS model HTS vertical wrapper in either poly or shrink films.
